HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING AT LEGACY LA…

February was action-packed with so many of our programs organizing fun events for our young people and community! Youth Council students led an Arts for Liberation event where they shared knowledge on Black History Month, educated folks on their rights, and held space for self-expression with an open mic. Following that, our Rainbow Alliance and Teen Tech Center team led the first ever Clothing Swap. Students and community members got to pick out some new pieces of clothing, shoes, and accessories just in time for spring. Of course that's not all… The mental health team took a retreat in the beautiful town of Solvang to de-stress, hike, and even got to feed some emus!
